Local


Home Court Advantage-I accept cases only in a small geographic area. That means I regularly appear before the judges in those jurisdictions and I have developed relationships with the police officers and prosecutors.

Knowledgable


Knowing the players isn't enough. Knowing the law isn't enough either.
In depth knowledge of police procedures and practices is vital. I am a former breath test operator for the Commonwealth of Virginia and a Radar Instructor. I have trained hundreds of police officers; some state, some local, some rookies, some veterans. I have taught numerous course including search and seizure law, standardized field sobriety testing and courtroom testimony.

Experienced


 

There is no substitute for experience. I have practiced criminal and traffic law since 1996. Before that I was a police officer and police academy instructor. I was the Chief Prosecutor in the City of Colonial Heights for over five years and have worked as a defense attorney for over six.
